“¿Papi, conoces Akinator?”, preguntó mi hija menor de 9 años. No tenía ni idea de a qué se refería. Pensé en Terminator, pero no, ella lo había pronunciado bien. “Ven jugamos, me dijo”. Me acerqué con escasa curiosidad y lo primero que observé fue un muñeco en forma de genio, ante lo cual mi hija me dijo que después de una serie de preguntas el adivinaba en qué pensábamos.
Eso ya comenzó a llamar mi atención. En principio, observé que había dos categorías: animales y personajes. Entré en el juego y seleccioné animales; el programa adivinó en la séptima pregunta el mamífero en el que yo pensaba: la cebra.
Volví a intentarlo con un animal más difícil, el ornitorrinco. A través de las opciones de respuesta “si”, “no”, “no lo sé”, “probablemente sí” y “probablemente no”, Akinator adivinó mi segundo animal en la respuesta 14.
Luego me pasé a personajes y pensé en uno de ficción, de una novela para ser más preciso: en la pregunta 14 el adivino supo que había elegido al Capitán Nemo, el célebre protagonista de 20.000 leguas de viaje submarino de Julio Verne.
Enseguida volví a jugar, pero ya con un personaje real y de actualidad: me fui por Iván Duque Márquez, presidente de Colombia. Solo hasta la pregunta 12 el juego preguntó si estaba relacionado con la política; luego de contestar que sí, el adivino preguntó si el nombre del personaje comenzaba por A. Le respondí que no; vino entonces la pregunta 14, donde preguntó si era de izquierda; por supuesto, contesté que no.
Pero vino la pregunta 15, referente a algo que no solo a mí sino a Colombia entera le ha causado todo tipo de sentimientos encontrados: “¿tu personaje tiene apariencia de cerdo”? La respuesta obvia era no, pero me dejé llevar por la curiosidad y contesté que sí, esperando que el juego me mostrará al ‘cerdo’, o sea al amigo de Martín de Francisco y Santiago Moure, quien, aunque no es político, se ha mostrado en La Tele Letal como candidato.
Pues bien, mi asombro fue mayúsculo cuando apareció nada menos que Iván Duque. La sorpresa no fue porque el juego hubiera adivinado el personaje, como ya lo había hecho antes, sino porque una pregunta relacionada con un cerdo tuviera como respuesta al mismísimo presidente de Colombia. Por primera vez pude sentir lo que tal vez siente un venezolano cuando tratan a su mandatario de burro. Por eso no sabía si reír, llorar, ponerme de mal genio o quedar aburrido.
De alguna manera, lo sentí un irrespeto hacia los colombianos. Está bien que el caricaturista Matador se burle del presidente pintándolo como un cerdo, según afirmó debido a su parecido con Porky, el personaje de dibujos animados de la Warner Brothers. Pero eso hace parte de nuestra sátira política, y hasta Tola y Maruja lo tratan de ‘lechoncito’.
En alguna ocasión el abogado José Luis Reyes Villamizar interpuso una tutela contra Matador, porque según él pintar así a Duque le violaba al mandatario su derecho al buen nombre, a la libertad de conciencia y a la libertad de elegir (en ese momento Duque era candidato), y era ofensiva. Pero ese es un problema de los colombianos, no delos europeos
El juego Akinator se creó en agosto de 2007 y antes de expandirse por el mundo logró gran popularidad en Israel, Alemania y Francia, países donde fue desarrollado.
Podría pensarse que el juego virtual no tiene ninguna consideración con el presidente de Colombia, mucho más tratándose de un juego que es usado por niños y jóvenes, a quien habría que inculcarles por lo menos el respeto hacia los adultos… Según Akinator, 22.520 personas han jugado con Duque como personaje para adivinar. La pregunta del millón es: ¿todos ellos habrán contestado que sí a la pregunta ¿tiene apariencia de cerdo?
