No. Convergen en esos “huesitos y carnitas” por dos razones: la primera, porque en esta sociedad contemporánea del espectáculo tienen un gran poder de influencia los medios masivos, el ejercicio periodístico y ciertos periodistas, en especial en aquellas comunidades donde sus miembros son acríticos o incapaces de discernir entre lo correcto y lo incorrecto, lo legal y lo ilegal. Fruto de ese poder, las empresas mediáticas lograron hacer de  Uribe una figura política importante, casi mítica. Se puede colegir que Uribe es una invención mediática. Y la segunda, atada a la primera, porque las grandes empresas periodísticas, en particular los noticieros privados RCN y Caracol, fungen de tiempo atrás como actores políticos, cuyas agendas se pusieron a la orden de los intereses del hoy senador de la República y del entorno de lo que se conoce como el “uribismo”, que representa una parte de lo que se conoce como el Establecimiento.

A pesar del poder que tanto el operador político y esos medios masivos concentraron entre 2002 y 2010, hoy las circunstancias son distintas. Uribe sobrevive a una esperada soledad y al natural declive, tal y como lo han vivido otros patriarcas y capataces cuyo carácter megalómano se funda en una sociedad cuyos miembros practican el servilismo y la adulación.

Asociado a lo anterior, el papel que jugaron los analistas políticos, columnistas, medios alternativos y blogueros fue clave para ir erosionando a ese “Héroe” de barro que la prensa y los sectores más lisonjeros de Colombia construyeron e impusieron como referente y faro moral y ético. Vaya error.

4. Sectores del Establecimiento que apoyaron a Uribe Vélez durante sus primeros cuatro años de mandato, supieron tomar distancia de aquel, al reconocer los serios daños que dejaría como legado en una sociedad mal informada, que poco lee y que arrastra además la desaparición de la Historia de los currículos de los colegios.

La decisión que tomaron los magistrados de la Corte Suprema de Justicia es un golpe al mega ego de este singular patriarca que, salido de esa Colombia conservadora, machista, premoderna y violenta, creyó que su reinado no tenía límites, porque él mismo se encargó de borrar todo tipo de fronteras y demarcaciones éticas y morales, en el marco de una sociedad que de tiempo atrás deviene en una insondable confusión moral. Y cuando una sociedad no es capaz de exigir y lograr una depuración en las prácticas políticas y culturales, es a los jueces a quienes corresponde reestablecer esos límites. Más allá del sentido jurídico de la decisión tomada por la CSJ, lo que esta deja entrever es un ejercicio reflexivo de los magistrados que no solo toca al operador político en mención, sino a todos aquellos que creen que es posible ponerse por encima de la ley y por esa vía, imponer a la sociedad entera ese ethos mafioso que claramente se evidencia en esas primeras pruebas e indicios que los magistrados lograron allanar, para ordenar la restricción a la libertad del perjudicial capataz. Comprar, presionar o intimidar testigos no puede naturalizarse en este país y mucho menos, convertirse en una práctica común de quien en su calidad de expresidente de la República, está llamado a actuar con total sindéresis de acuerdo con la dignidad que ostentó.
